At the Introductory Evening for a Teen Class some years ago a lady sat quietly crying. When Gary Ezzo said on the video "it is never too late to start over" she felt she should share her story.

"For me it was too late. For 9 months I had the Growing Families Teen Kit in my possession knowing that I should be running the course. At the time I was fast loosing communication with my 19years old son. He was beginning to drink really heavily so I was often berating him - gradually he withdrew from me. He was killed in an accident because he was drinking and driving just a few weeks ago.

However painful it may be I am determined now to do this course as I have 3 other children and I do not want to repeat what has just happened."

At the end of the course this lady had changed so many things in her relationship with her other three children.
